Q. What is the minimum order that we can place? A. In the first instance samples can be sent by
sharing a container or alternatively by air freight. After which a 20 foot container is
our preferred minimum purchase order. We prefer to mix furniture orders with smaller
decorative items and so as to take full advantage of the container space.
Q. What are your payment
terms? A. All payment should be made in US dollars, unless
otherwise specified in the quotation sent to you. We give the following options for
payment:
Full Advance Payment: This method is most convenient for small
orders as it minimizes the bank charges involved in other methods of payment.
You may send a Telegraphic Transfer (TT) or Wire Transfer to our Bankers under
intimation to us.
Advance Cash Payment: For larger orders, we expect that you
send 30% value in advance. Balance payment is payable against delivery of
shipping documents by DHL and once the order has been
compleated. This is the most cost effective method of payment as
Bank Charges are kept to the minimum.
Letter of Credit: If the customer
prefers this method of payment then we expect a Irrevocable at Sight Letter of Credit
against bulk orders after receiving a advance payment of 30% in
cash.. This method involves considerable Bank charges. All Bank Changes as
per the terms of Letter of Credit, must be to the account of the buyer.
Credit Cards: At present we do not accept payment by credit
cards.
Q. Please give some
information on Shipping mode and charges? A. Normal mode of shipment is - "Sea
Freight" and on a FOB bases as this simplifies clearance at the destination.
It is your option to ask for prices inclusive of shipping costs and on a CIF bases. C.I.F.
rates are quoted if you inform us the exact quantity and destination, but prompt clearance
is required to avoid extra port costs at your destination.
