Production
Methods...
In Indonesia, and particular in areas of Java, there has long
been a tradition of hand craftsmanship. For centuries, skilled cabinet makers and
carpenters have developed their trade and are fully conversant with the business of
producing fine furniture for indoor and outdoor use. Some of their predominant
skills include working with batik cloth, iron work, and high quality furniture
construction.
What is not so
readily practiced by this time-honoured trade is the mass production of traditional
products through mechanization. Although, good furniture is mass produced in
Indonesia, we choose to follow the traditional route. Our furniture is made by hand
using modern power tools and traditional construction methods.
But above all, we have introduced strict quality control to
the process. The result is that we have retained the best of the traditional methods
while improving the end product with more appropriate modern production techniques.
In many cases we make our own furniture in
our workshop, however we also employ selected contractors who can
also build our furniture under our supervision.
Our
products speak for themselves in terms of durability, quality, and style. We invite
you to visit our showroom in East Java to see for yourself.
